Shipping & Returns — Flannel Loot
We ship from Newark, CA — right in the heart of the SF Bay Area, between Josie’s garden and Tino’s LEGO minefield.
Shipping
• Orders ship Monday–Saturday (we take Sundays off, and US holidays off because Josie makes me)
• Cutoff is 2 PM PST — order before then and it goes out with the afternoon USPS pickup
• We use USPS Ground, Priority, whatever gets it there without selling a kidney. Shipping is calculated at checkout — no fake “free shipping” baked into the flannel price
• PO Boxes: we’ll ship to them, but no next-day miracles (USPS rules, not ours)
International
• Not yet. We’re still figuring out how to get a flannel through customs without it being adopted by a Canadian. Email hello@flanneldaddyloot.com if you’re outside the US and desperate.
Tracking
• You’ll get an email with tracking the minute it leaves Newark. If you don’t see it in 5 business days, check spam — then email us
• Once USPS has it, we see the same tracking you do. We can’t make the truck go faster, but we’ll cheer it on
• Lost/stolen after “delivered” scan? We’ll help file a claim, but USPS is the boss there. Insurance is optional at checkout — recommended if your porch pirates wear flannel too
• Box looks like it survived a demolition derby? Take photos before you open it. Send to hello@flanneldaddyloot.com so we can yell at USPS politely
FAQ from the garage
Can you combine my two orders I placed 3 minutes apart?
Nope. Josie packs fast. Like, “already taped” fast. (Contact Us and we will do our best to accommodate)
I forgot my discount code, can you add it?
We wish. Once it’s packed, it’s packed. Use it next time and Tino will give you a virtual high-five.(Contact Us and we will do our best to accommodate)
Tracking says “pre-shipment” for days?
That means USPS is playing hide-and-seek with your box. Give it 7 business days. Still stuck? Email us.
Says delivered, but my porch is empty?
Wait 48 hours — USPS sometimes scans early. Then check with neighbors, your dog, and that one neighbor who “borrows” packages. Still gone? Email us.
