After two and a half years of fighting leukemia and reaching remission, La’Monte experienced a relapse. According to the family’s GoFundMe, he is facing additional intensive treatment and a bone marrow transplant, with an extended stay in Denver for care and recovery. The fundraiser helps his family with housing, travel, and transplant-related needs.
