Santorini Vibes: We Weren’t Ready to Leave
REAL STORIES. GOOD GEAR. QUESTIONABLE DECISIONS.
REAL STORIES.
MORE THAN JUST FLANNELS.♛
We weren’t quite ready to leave Santorini, so we extended our stay—and I’m damn glad we did.
Santorini ended up being one of my favorite places in Greece. The blue domes, whitewashed buildings, and views over the Aegean almost don’t look real. It’s one of those places where you keep stopping because somehow every corner looks like somebody staged it for a postcard.

Of course, Flannel Daddy wasn’t showing up empty-handed. I was reppin’ Clutch & Throttle throughout the trip with the G’d Up Hot Pink, Digital Blue Camo, and the CHET. Apparently even on vacation I still need to coordinate the lids.
I also hired a photographer while we were there to get some proper shots of Flannel Daddy and the family. That turned out to be one of the best decisions of the trip. These are easily some of my favorite family photos from Greece.

There are places you visit that are cool, and then there are places you already know you’d go back to before you’ve even left.
And yeah, I managed to sneak in a couple solo shots too. Somebody has to document the lids in their natural habitat.
Santorini was that kind of place for me.
If you ever get the chance to go, do it. Give yourself enough time to slow down, wander around, take in the views, and enjoy the place instead of trying to cram it into a quick stop.
Santorini, you were damn good to us.
